Gidget Anthony: (Pilates, TRX Suspension Training, TDB Barre Plus)
Gidget is the owner of The Designed Body Pilates Studio and has worked in the fitness industry since 1991 in a varitety of roles including personal trainer, group exercise, spinning and yoga instructor and finally as a Pilates trainer. During her time in Dallas she has directed two large Dallas area health club's group exercise departments. and has also been an aerobic presenter. Gidget considers herself a knowledge "junkie" and her love of yoga soon gave way to Pilates. Pilates is all about knowledge. Knowledge of how the body is designed to work and how we can achieve those goals. Her goal as a Pilates trainer is to teach you to enjoy your workouts and marvel at your body's amazing abilities. "I want to be able to help everyone from those needing injury rehab to those playing competitive sports. I believe this training belongs to everyone." Gidget is an avid runner and novice cyclist (but getting better).
Gidget was once a professional dancer and studied ballet and jazz for many years. She also has appeared in several independent films.
Certifications/Training: Fully certified (Mat and all Apparatus) through STOTT PILATES. Mat, Reformer and CCB Instructor Trainer through STOTT PILATESTM. Additional training in Pilates for golf, athletes, and injury rehabilitation.
Liz Aiona (Pilates)
Liz Aiona began practicing STOTT PILATESTM at The Designed Body Pilates Studio in 2008 after many years of Yoga. While in the Studio, Liz saw these unusual “machines” in a room and inquired about what they could do for her. Gidget signed her up for a Reformer Workshop to learn the basics, then she took her first Essential Reformer Class, and it was an instant love affair. Learning to build on strength and endurance through core gave her a newfound focus on her overall well-being. After experiencing the benefits of STOTT PILATES first hand, Liz recently decided to take the Reformer Certification Course to become a STOTT PILATES instructor.
Certifications and Trainings: Liz is currently completing her apprenticeship as a STOTT PILATES Reformer trainer, and is planning on completing the STOTT PILATES Advanced Reformer course in the Fall of 2011. She has completed the STOTT PILATES Jumpboard Interval training.
Janeen Arnberger (Pilates)
Janeen Arnberger began practicing Pilates at Grace Anatomy
Pilates in Studio City, California in 2009. She went to her first Pilates Reformer class as a shy and curious
student and instantly fell in love with Pilates. The combination of focusing on breath and proper alignment
was just what she had been looking for.
Along with that came strength and flexibility with consistent practice.
After moving back to her home state of Texas in early 2010,
Janeen became a student at The Designed Body in Plano, TX.
With each practice, she could feel herself getting stronger and more
passionate about Pilates. In
January of 2011, Janeen decided to take her passion of Pilates into the
direction of getting certified at Body Mind Design in Dallas, TX to become a
STOTT Pilates instructor. Janeen also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of North Texas in Radio, Television and Film.
Certifications and Trainings: Currently completing her apprenticeship as a STOTT PILATESTM level 1 Mat and Reformer trainer.
Kendyl Bruck (Pilates, TDB Barre Plus, Front Desk)
Kendyl Bruck began practicing Pilates in 2005 after years of being a competitive dancer. She took her first class from George Watson and was hooked, hoping to improve her strength and flexibility. Kendyl found her passion for Pilates and became a regular student challenging herself each day. In May of 2008 Kendyl found The Designed Body and contacted Gidget to work in the office. Her love for Pilates moved from student to teacher while working underneath amazing instructors at the studio and she is now in the process of completing her Pilates training through STOTT PILATES . Kendyl currently works part time as a pre-school teacher and in the office at the studio. Kendyl's love for dance has made teaching dance based barre and stretch classes a dream come true. Fitness has always been a huge part of Kendyl's life and she is thrilled to be able to share her passion with others.
Certifications and Trainings: Kendyl completed her STOTT PILATESTM mat training course this past July and hopes to continue her education with the reformer in February. Each day is exciting and a chance to enhance her education in the Pilates field. She feels extremely lucky for this opportunity and can't wait to share her passion with others.
Nimisha Calien-Kaylan: (Pilates)
Nimisha is originally from South Africa and has graduated as a Physical Therapist in her home country in 2000. She moved to the USA, Texas in June 2007 after spending a year and half in London. She is currently in the process of gaining her licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas.She became a Pilates enthusiast while living in London during 2006. After having worked as a Physical Therapist for 5 years in South Africa she gained a keen interest in muscle imbalance, biomechanical problems and stability dysfunctions and the impact they have on body function. While in London she was presented with the perfect opportunity to experience Pilates. She found that Pilates is a wonderful form of exercise to strengthen, tone, lengthen muscles and is an invaluable tool in restoring confidence in body awareness and promotes healthy patterns of movement.
Certifications/Training: Certified through the Body Control PIlates Association (London, UK) for Matwork and has recieved Comprehensive Equipment certification through the Balanced Body University and Karen Sanzo of Pilates Unlimited (Dallas, TX).
Anne Comstock (Pilates)
Anne relocated to the Dallas area from Los Angeles. Anne developed an interest in movement and fitness during her many years studying ballet throughout her youth. In 2002, after her fourth pregnancy, she picked up a pilates mat class at her local YMCA in San Diego, CA. Realizing the similarities between pilates and ballet sparked an interest in becoming certified to teach.
Over the last three years, she has enjoyed instructing students in the pilates method of movement to help them achieve fitness goals by improving muscle tone, flexibility, and strength and increasing body awareness. Her classes are focused yet fun and positive. She also enjoys the relationships she has built through one-on-one (private) training. She feels it is important to focus on each individual's background in fitness and lifestyle to get a better understanding where the student is coming from and where she/he wants to go. In other words, she cares about her students and sees potential in every body.
She is an avid runner and participates in local 5K runs. Her hobbies include nutrition and instilling an appreciation for fitness and movement in each of her five children.
Certifications/Training:
Anne is mat and reformer certified through STOTT PILATES. She has also received additional training from STOTT PILATES for training those with injuries, special limitations as well as pregnancy. Anne is currently completing her cadillac, chair and barrel training with STOTT PILATES.
Neela Forzisi (Pilates)
Neela has been actively teaching individual and group fitness instruction since 2007. In addition to being a Peak Pilates® Certified Instructor, Neela is also a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yogafit®. She currently holds certifications in TRX® Suspension Training™ and Schwinn® and Keiser® indoor cycle. She teaches pilates, yoga and cycle at local fitness centers and private institutions. She obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont and an MBA from The Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. She is currently studying for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Personal Trainer exam and undergoing her 500-RYT training with an emphasis in Yoga Therapy.

Danielle Kubat (Pilates)
Danielle recently moved to the Dallas area with her husband and two sons from the Minneapolis area where she was teaching cardio and strength group fitness classes as well as Pilates. Danielle has been interested in fitness her entire life. She began teaching fitness classes in Texas over 15 years ago. Along the way, Danielle completed the Dallas White Rock Marathon, the Tom Landry Sprint Duatholon as well as many sprint triathlons in the Minnesota area.
She worked as a dietitian in Texas and Minnesota for 10 years practicing in hospitals, nursing homes as well as health clubs. In 2009 Danielle was introduced to Pilates and she was hooked. After personally practicing Pilates, seeing and felling the results she decided to begin the journey to Pilates certification and began teaching Pilates. She thoroughly enjoys helping others reach their personal health goals by implementing Pilates principles into their fitness routine.
Education and Certification: B.S. in Nutrition from Truman State University, M.S. Nutrition Texas Woman's University, ACE group fitness, Johnny G. Spinning Certifications. Danielle has completed format Mat level 1 and 2 through Balanced Body University. She will be continuing her Pilates equipment training this Fall.
Julie Kumor Godfrey: (Pilates, TRX Suspension Training)
Julie Kumor, from Connellsville, PA, holds a Master's degree in Exercise and Wellness Promotion. Julie currently works full-time as a health coach prescribing exercise, nutrition and other lifestyle changes to help clients better manage their chronic health conditions or to reduce the risks of developing future health issues. She has worked as a personal trainer and managed corporate fitness centers for the last few years and has an extensive background in group fitness. Julie's passion for Pilates started when she began her dance degree in 1997. While pursuing a dance career in NYC she began working at an all women’s fitness center. The more time she spent in the fitness world, the more she wanted to learn. Julie feels that her backgrounds in dance, exercise and wellness have molded her into an instructor that is able to reach her students on many different levels. She has a passion for healthy living and wants to exemplify that attitude in her classes as well.
Certifications/Training: Julie has taught Pilates Mat classes for 5 years and is excited to have found Stott Pilates and to be able to teach the method to others. Along with her Stott training, she holds national certifications from ACE, AFAA, The Arthritis Foundation, and Moms in Motion and the Pink Ribbon Pilates Program for breast cancer survivors.
Clare Rockwell: (Pilates)
Clare began practicing pilates six years ago and really connected with all the elements of the pilates practice. It also complimented her passion for running and walking. She became a regular member of many pilates studios in Michigan and enjoyed exploring the different methods. Her love for the practice grew and so she decided to enroll in a comprehensive pilates training program, so that she could bring the benefits of her knowledge to others. Her enthusiasm and dedication comes out in her teaching and with an eye for detail she likes to make sure her clients needs and expectations are met at each and every session.
Her training began back in September 2007 at one of the countries largest STOTT PILATES training facilities; Equilibrium studios in Bloomfield Hills Michigan. She began teaching the moment she enrolled and built up a regular clientele teaching both private and group Mat and Reformer classes. In July of 2008 she and her husband relocated to Texas. Orignally from London, England Clare has long been an advocate for healthy living, since moving to the States 13 years ago.
Certifications/Training:
Clare is fully level 1 mat and equipment certified through STOTT PILATESTM. Clare is also trained in injuries and special populations as well as pregnancy through STOTT PILATESTM.
Brandi Shotwell (TRX Suspension Training)
Brandi has always had a love for exercise and teaching. She has been a Montessori teacher for the past 5 years and spends a lot of time running and hiking outside. In June of 2010 Brandi began taking Pilates classes at The Designed Body Pilates Studio. The immediate positive connection she had in the classes and the overall environment sparked a desire to become a regular student. After a year of mind, body and spiritual transformation, Brandi became interested in furthering her experience as an instructor.
Brandi fell in love with TRX at the studio earlier this year when classes began. The change in her body and the enjoyment of the class gave her inspired her to take the TRX Certification Course. Brandi is excited to pass along the same passion she has for TRX to her students.
