Anne Comstock (Pilates)

Anne and her family relocated to the Dallas area from Los Angeles.  Anne developed an interest in movement and fitness during her many years studying ballet throughout her youth.  In 2002, after her fourth pregnancy, she picked up a pilates mat class at her local YMCA in San Diego, CA.  Realizing the similarities between pilates and ballet sparked an interest in becoming certified to teach.

Over the last three years, she has enjoyed instructing students in the pilates method of movement to help them achieve fitness goals by improving muscle tone, flexibility, and strength and increasing body awareness. Her classes are focused yet fun and positive.  She also enjoys the relationships she has built through one-on-one (private) training. She feels it is important to focus on each individual's background in fitness and lifestyle to get a better understanding where the student is coming from and where she/he wants to go.  In other words, she cares about her students and sees potential in every body.
She is an avid runner and participates in local 5K runs. Her hobbies include nutrition and instilling an appreciation for fitness and movement in each of her five children.
